San Diego Region's New Traffic Service

We already know how bad San Diego traffic can be. Thankfully, there is a new way to assess traffic before you venture out. SANDAG (San Diego Association of Governments) has a new website that provides real-time traffic information, accident reports, and drive times.

Just wanted to let you know that there have been a couple services out there that have been doing this in the past...this one you mention is pretty good, but I'm really excited that Google just incorporated it into their Maps feature (there is another tab you can select at the top to see up-to-date traffic)...Google has also introduced it to most cell phones, an extremely convenient feature!

Right, and I especially like Google's cell phone version of GoogleMaps. Conceivably, we'll soon have this traffic data linked into our car GPS systems to help us drive the best routes home during rush hour!
